Belgian House Speaker arrives to Beirut

The Belgian House Speaker, André Flahaut, arrived Monday afternoon to Beirut on a state visit, upon the invitation of Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri.

During the visit, Flahaut will engage in talks with Lebanese officials and inspect the Belgian contingent operating within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Colette Taquet, and MPs Yassine Jaber and Abdullatif Zein received the visiting official at Rafic Hariri International Airport.
