8 tanks return from Syria empty of any cargo, spur controversy

After the objections and protests prompted by the issue of diesel oil exportation from Lebanon to Syria onboard tanks carrying Syrian plate numbers, the return of 8 tanks from Syria via al-Masnaa border crossing empty of any cargo spurred controversy.

In this regard, exclusive sources told LBCI that after filling their cargo from Dbayeh’s refinery overnight, the tanks’ drivers unloaded the diesel oil only to return to Syria empty of any cargo.
