Russian lawmaker's body found in a cement-filled barrel

UPI news agency reported on Monday that the body of Mikhail Pakhomov, a lawmaker from Lipetsk city council, had been found in a cement-filled barrel in a private garage.            

The Investigative Committee said in a statement that the lawmaker had been kidnapped upon the order of Yevgeny Kharitonov, a former deputy minister of housing services for the Moscow region.         

The kidnapping of Pakhomov may be a revenge crime for the lawmaker's involvement in the possible killing MP Bakhumov. 4 other citizens were arrested on the same charges.
