Bulgaria says did not request Hezbollah's enlistment on terrorist list

Bulgarian Chargé d’Affaires Plamen Tzolov announced Thursday that his country did not request that Hezbollah be listed on the terrorist list when it filed the Burgas attack case to the European Union, stressing that investigations are still ongoing in complete secrecy.

Following his meeting with Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel in Saifi, Tzolov said that adding any party on the EU’s terrorist list requires an accurate assessment by the European Union itself, addressing all the case’s data. “It also requires a unanimous approval by the 27 EU member states,” he said.
