Assir’s armed supporters withdraw from Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque area

Heavily armed supporters of Sheikh Ahmad Assir withdrew from surrounding area of Bilal Bin Rabbah Mosque, after having deployed on Friday afternoon, while the Lebanese forces retreated their patrols.

Assir had warned earlier during Friday’s speech, against an escalatory movement aimed at evacuating two apartments in Abra, claiming that they belong to Hezbollah members.
