Sleiman calls on everyone to avoid clashing with military and security forces

President Michel Sleiman praised on Monday the role performed by the military and security forces, notably the Lebanese Army, in maintaining security and civil peace and in preventing strife during the current situation in the region.

In this context, Sleiman who presented a plan to improve the armament of the army appreciated the security efforts deployed during the municipal sub elections, calling on everyone to avoid clashing with the military and security forces “because the people’s interest is to stay under the law”.

On the other hand, Sleiman met with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour who briefed him on his last visit to Bahrain, stressing that no measures will be taken against the Lebanese community.
