LAF arrest Ali al-Masri on charges of plotting attacks against army

The Guidance Directorate of Lebanese Army Command declared on Wednesday that a patrol of the intelligence service, assisted by a military unit, arrested Tuesday night, Ali Mohammad Hassan Masri, a wanted fellon.

The arrested person is accused of planning an attack against the army on April 13, 2009 in the Riak-Baalbek locality and of being involved in recent kidnapping cases.

The detainee is being currently interrogated under the supervision of the judicial authorities.
