REPORT: Countdown begins for oil exploration tenders' submission

Energy Minister Gebran Bassil refused to reveal the number of companies which submitted offers for pre-qualification stage for oil and gas exploration, noting that their number exceeded one hundred. He added that on the 21st of April, he will announce the companies which will be accepted, pointing out the deadline to submit tenders is the 28th of March.

This report will shed the light on the latest preparations for oil and gas exploration plans in Lebanon, as well as the minister’s stance regarding this matter.
