REPORT: Israel carries out maneuvers to reoccupy South Lebanon

Intensive and continuous explosions are being heard in the northern region of Israel where training operations carried out by the Israeli Army are underway. Contrary to the operations performed two years ago, Israeli military officials say that the new military exercises include a plan to occupy South Lebanon, claiming that Hezbollah now has a larger and more advanced rocket arsenal than before. The officials stressed that war against Hezbollah was inescapable.

This report will examine Israel’s plan aiming at confronting any danger resulting from the deterioration of the situation in Lebanon and Syria, exposing the point of view of Israeli military officers in regards to the training operations.
