Aoun to LBCI: The coming hours will determine the government’s direction

Free Patriotic Movement MP, Alain Aoun, said that the Change and Reform Bloc leader MP Michel Aoun will declare his position following the consultations that are set to take place Friday, adding that several contacts were made throughout the night with the MP "leading to changes".

In a phone interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Aoun said that the next few hours will determine the direction of the government, stressing that a unified stance is largely to be contributed to the [National Struggle Front leader] MP Walid Jumblatt.

Nominating MP Tamam Salam for Premiership was a message of inclusion, and comes to the benefit of all parties, he said.
