Future MP denounces obstruction of judiciary’s work by FPM ministers

Future Bloc MP Mohammad al-Hajjar denounced on Thursday the Change and Reform ministers "obstruction" of the course of justice when it comes to central inspection of the ministers work, noting that the results of such acts can only be labeled under the banner of corruption.

Commenting on the construction of the Deir Ammar power plant during a press conference held at Parliament, MP Hajjar noted that the Spanish company that won the tender of the project the first time was later declined by the cabinet, "not because the company did not provide the required credit, but because caretaker Energy Minister Gebran Bassil did not 'want it'."

He added that many question marks surround the approved Cypriot company, revealing that Bassil has a personal benefit in choosing it.
