Administration and Justice Committee discusses Foreign Ownership Law

The Administration and Justice Committee held a meeting on Monday at the Parliament to follow up on the draft law pertaining to the amendment of the Foreign Ownership Law. During the meeting, the committee’s members exposed the loopholes and impurities included in the law currently adopted.

In this context, the Committee tasked MPs Samir al-Jeser and Michel al-Helo with dealing with this issue in cooperation with the Justice and Finance Ministries through drafting the required amended clauses.

Accordingly, the Administration and Justice Committee will resume its discussions concerning this matter when the parliamentary subcommittee finishes its work.
