Rai categorically rejects extension of Parliament’s term

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai rejected on Sunday the extension of the parliament’s mandate without passing a new electoral law under the pretext of security disorder and preoccupation in Syria’s events.                

Rai made his remarks during his holy sermon during the Sunday mass at Bkerke.
