Dib to LBCI: The status quo imposed the adoption of 1960 law

Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Hikmat Dib declared on Wednesday that the status quo imposed the adoption of the 1960 electoral law, since political efforts reached a deadlock, noting that the hybrid electoral draft law divides the electoral districts according March 14’s interests.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Dib said that “they will not accept the election of a Parliament which excludes the Free Patriotic Movement.”

In this context, MP Dib stressed that the FPM will boycott the General Authority session scheduled for Friday the 31st of May.
