REPORT: Bomb explosion targets two vehicles on Taanayel Int'l Rd

A bomb reportedly exploded Monday on the Taanayel international road leaving a half meter deep crater. Security sources told LBCI the blast targeted a white minivan and a BMW with dark-tinted windows.

The sources added that men on board of the minivan were reportedly injured and mentioned that they signed their border crossing documents at the Masnaa checkpoint prior to entering the Syrian territories.

Citizen Gerges Bachaalany, who was on the road at the time of the blast said that his car, a black BMW, was damaged as a result of the explosion, he however was not hurt.

No further details were provided.
