Health Minister Hassan: Lebanon is still in third phase of Coronavirus outbreak
Ministry of Health Hamad Hassan said on Friday that Lebanon is still in the third of phase of Coronavirus outbreak.
 
Hassan’s comments were made during a press conference with head of the parliamentary health committee Issam Araji.
 
Hassan noted that the ministry is preparing for the fourth stage, adding that the ministry’s plan is fight Coronavirus in hopes that we would never reach it.
“Yesterday, 4 intractable cases were recorded,” he added.
 
The minister stressed that the commitment of the Lebanese people determines where matters are heading.
 
“Ther are 1185 operating ventilators, and we are awaiting the arrival of 110 new devices,” the minister announced.
 
He concluded by saying that the Ministry of Defense has secured to the Ministry of Health USD 20 million to fight Coronavirus.
