"Majed al-Majed's project will continue to target Iran and its party [Hezbollah]," Abdullah Azzam Brigades said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Media outlets issued by 'Iran's party' claiming that investigations were held with Majed al-Majed, are nothing but lies," the statement said, adding that they are trying to achieve a "moral victory".
"When Majed al-Majed was detained, he was in a coma," the statement said, noting that "Hezbollah, driven by hatred, removed his respirator".
