REPORT: Friends, family bid farewell to road rage victim Georges al-Rif

The body of Georges al-Rif, the victim of the Gemayze road rage attack, was transported Friday to Saint Mitr church in Ashrafieh where funeral prayers are currently being held.

George’s brother urged that perpetrators be brought to justice without any political mediation.

Al-Rif died on Thursday of wounds sustained in a road rage attack that took place Wednesday evening.

The dispute occurred on the backdrop of a traffic incident between him and another driver, identified as Tarek Yatim, on board a Kia Picanto vehicle.
