REPORT: We will stick to the constitution at electoral law discussions - Berri
Speaker Nabih Berri said Wednesday that he was pleased with the reactions towards his last position on the parliamentary session.

“Whoever counts it as a retract then it’s an honor for me to do so for Lebanon”, he added.

At the parliamentary gathering in Ain al-Tineh Berri pointed out that the joint committees will discuss and analyze the electoral law proposals, hoping an agreement would be reached.

“We will stick with the constitution during the electoral law discussions”, explained.

Earlier the deputy called on the joint parliamentary committees to meet next Tuesday to study electoral draft-laws.

The parliamentary committees are the following: Finance and Budget committee, Administration and Justice Committee, Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Committee, National Defense, Interior and Municipalities Committee, and the Media Communications Committee.
