March14: Hezbollah's intervention in Syrian crisis highlights the importance of forming new cabinet

The General Secretariat of March14 said on Wednesday that Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on Lebanon highlight the importance of forming a new cabinet capable of dealing with these issues and managing the affairs of the Lebanese people.

The Secretariat added that the caretaker government should have held an exceptional meeting under the chairmanship of President Michel Sleiman in order to discuss the Syrian violations to Lebanon's sovereignty and mentioned that the Supreme Defense Council should have taken severe measures to ensure the security of Lebanese citizens.

As for the memorandum that March 14 forces presented to President Sleiman, the Secretariat said that this memorandum aims at saving Lebanon, adding that this is a collective responsibility on all political and sectarian forces.
