March 14 alliance holds an extraordinary meeting

Members of March 14 alliance held on Tuesday an extraordinary meeting in Beit al- Wasat to tackle Sidon’s latest incidents.

The meeting was attended by head of Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora, Vice Speaker Farid Mekari, MPs Boutros Harb, Robert Ghanem, Georges Adwan, Nohad Mashnouk, Dori Chamoun, Marwan Hamadeh, Fouad al-Saad, Nadim Gemyael, Jean Ogassapian, Antoine Zahra, Nayla Mouawad and Fares Soueid, as well as former MP Samir Frangieh, Carlos Edde, Sejaan Azzi, Mohammad Shatah and Michel Mouawad.

Following the meeting, the convened members said that the current phase is crucial and requires unity on the part of all the Lebanese people.

March 14 alliance also asserted the need to form a new government that can adhere to the memorandum submitted by President Michel Sleiman and the Baabda declaration.
