Geagea calls on the state to care for Tarshish

Following a meeting with a delegation from the village of Tarshish, the Head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea called on the Lebanese military, security and developmental institutions to draw their attentions to the deprived village of Tarshish.

This statement comes in the wake of the incident that occurred in Tarshish where Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui assigned a technical team to monitor the implementation of the national project for fiber optic grids carried out by a private contractor.

The Ministry reassured the town’s residents that there will be no telephone lines other than those of the Ministry.
