Berri calls on parliamentary committees to convene

Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri called Friday on the parliamentary committees to convene on Monday the 22nd of July in a joint session to discuss draft laws pertaining to the protection of women from domestic violence, the establishment of an environmental general prosecution, the issue of natural gas pipelines as well as other draft laws and amendments.

The parliamentary committees include the Finance and Budget, Administration and Justice, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, National Defense Interior and Municipalities, Agriculture and Tourism, Education and Higher Learning and Culture, Public Health and Labor and Social Affairs, National Economy and Commerce and Industry and Planning, Public Works and Transportation and Energy and Water, Human Rights, and the Woman and Child and Environment committee.
