Aoun: Discussions to appoint new army commander not yet held

The media office of the head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun responded on Sunday to media reports stating that a dispute erupted regarding the appointment of a new army commander, saying that the cabinet has not yet convened to discuss this matter.

The media office issued a statement whereby it stressed that the concerned parties have not yet met to discuss the issue.
