MP Jumblatt calls on Egypt armed forces to exercise maximum restraint

The head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt stressed on Monday the need to "preserve the achievements marked through the 'second' Egyptian revolution whereby the people voiced their rejection of a one sided regime."

In this regard, MP Jumbaltt called on the armed forces in Egypt to exercise "maximum restraint" and to avoid all kinds of violence. He also warned against any plots devised by the Muslim Brotherhood.

In his weekly statement to al-Anbaa daily, Jumblatt accused the Muslim Brotherhood of "using the results of the ballot boxes in order to exclude other parties and to unilaterally control the country".
