Charbel: Interior Ministry doing its job perfectly

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said that the ministry is keen on fulfilling its obligations perfectly through security bodies, adding that the latest results were satisfactory both for the ministry and the Lebanese citizens.

During his meeting with the Lebanese Democratic Party leader MP Talal Arslan in Khald0eh, Charbel said that the state is now entrusted with the arrested people in prisons. The president, the PM and the MPs agreed on settling this issue.

For his part, Arslan hoped that real independence will be entrenched, based on the achievements made by the men of independence, from Bchamoun and Rachaya Fort in 1943. There is no hope that Lebanon will rise from the ashes of the civil war and political dollars unless the state’s institutions are enhanced. “No one can dominate the law that prevails over injustice, sectarianism and factionalism.
