Lebanese Army choppers extinguish fire in Al-Sfire

The National News Agency reported on Thursday that Lebanese army choppers were finally able to extinguish the three-day-old fire that broke out in the Al-Sfire region and threatened nearby houses.

The Lebanese army is now carrying out a second operation for fire pockets until they are fully extinguished.

A fire erupted on Monday in the Al-Sfire region located on the outskirts of the Al- Danniyeh in Lebanon’s North Governorate.

In this regard, residents of Al-Sfire called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to use helicopters to extinguish the fire since Civil Defense teams are not capable of reaching the aforementioned region.
