Gemayel calls on Hezbollah to abide by the Baabda Declaration

Kataeb party leader Amin Gemayel held a meeting on Wednesday at the Grand Serail with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati with talks featuring high on governmental files.
Following the meeting, Gemayel voiced his party's readiness to exert all needed efforts in order to form a new government as soon as possible, calling on Hezbollah to join efforts and to abide by the Baabda declaration.

"We are going through the same circumstances. I hope that Hezbollah commit to the Baabda declaration in a bid to save Lebanon,” he said.

In this regard, Gemayel also expressed his deep concern over the "difficult" situation taking place in Lebanon, noting that most of the state's institutions are currently disrupted.
