Mikati urges Lebanese leaders to engage in honest dialogue
PM Najib Mikati urged the Lebanese leaders on Thursday to engage in an honest dialogue which is “the sole means to preserve the Lebanese unity.”

During the opening of the 2011 Annual Arab Banking Conference, Mikati confirmed that the Lebanese government is adamant to address all issues hindering the economic development, adding that the cabinet is doubling its efforts to spare Lebanon the repercussions of the regional events.

Mikati confirmed that Lebanon which has always implemented international resolutions will stay on the same track to preserve the national interest.

Mikati added that the sole concern remains the protection of Lebanon’s internal scene so as to meet the expectations and aspirations of the people.
