GCC: Nasrallah’s speech irresponsible and contradictory

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Abdul Latif Al-Zayani, denounced on Tuesday the latest speech delivered by the Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Friday, describing it as both irresponsible and contradictory.

The GCC chief said in a statement that Nasrallah vowed more intervention in the Syrian crisis, adding that “at a time when world powers denounced Hezbollah’s involvement in Syria, Nasrallah insisted on proceeding in the killing of the innocent Syrian people; destroying their homes and towns.”

Al-Zayani accused Nasrallah of intimidating the Lebanese and Syrian citizens with the weapons of his party, and his willingness to double his fighters’ participation in Syria.
