Future bloc: We hold Hezbollah responsible for deteriorating situation in the country

The Future bloc held on Tuesday its weekly meeting during which it condemned Thursday's blast in the Roueis region, calling on the security apparatuses to intensify their investigations to reveal the perpetrators of the explosion.

The bloc praised the efforts exerted by security bodies, saying that they are "the only ones responsible for identifying the criminals." The bloc called for supporting these bodies and protecting them without "any political interference."

It also reiterated that the Lebanese people have no interest in participating in the military conflict in Syria, whether by supporting or opposing the Syrian regime, calling on Hezbollah to pull our its fighters from the neighboring country.

MP Ahmad Fatfat read the statement on behalf of the bloc whereby he accused Hezbollah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah of being behind the deteriorating security situation in Lebanon.

MP Fatfat slammed the security measures carried out by Hezbollah in Beirut and the Bekaa region.

The bloc also condemned the rocket attacks at the Hermel region, saying that such acts serve the interest of both Lebanon and Syria's foes.
