Price of gasoline drops, that of fuel oil increases

On Wednesday August 21st, 2013, the price of 98 octane gasoline dropped 100 LBP, while that of 95 octane gasoline dropped 200 LBP. The price of fuel oil and kerosene increased 100 LBP, while that of gas remained unchanged.

The table issued by caretaker Minister of Energy and Water Gebran Bassil sets the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:

- Gasoline 95 octane: 34,300 LBP

- Gasoline 98 octane: 35,000 LBP

- Fuel Oil: 26,500 LBP

- Diesel Oil: 26,300 LBP

- Gas Canister: 17,400 LBP

- Kerosene: 28,100 LBP
