Sheikh Assir warns of possible attacks against Christian areas

Sheikh Ahmad Assir accused “the Iranian – Syrian team and its regional allies of implementing the attacks in Tripoli.”

In a new audio recording released on Tuesday, Assir called on whomever is seeking to prevent strife in Lebanon to expose the real facts and to deal with the core reasons of the conflict."

“Can anyone deny that Tripoli’s residents are fully convinced that the latest speech delivered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is related to Tripoli’s blasts?” Assir asked, holding Nasrallah fully responsible for the country’s situation.

Sheikh Assir addressed the Christian community by saying: “Beware of any potential attack to your streets, similar to those in the Beirut Southern Suburbs and Tripoli; only then will Nasrallah’s speech be fully implemented."
