MP Fatfat to LBCI: Speaker Berri's initiative is a "maneuver"

Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said on Monday that the initiative launched by Speaker Nabih Berri is "a maneuver", adding that Speaker Berri wants "to change the democratic system and not hold dialogue."

MP Fatfat made his comments during a phone call with LBCI's Nharkoum Said TV show during which he said that he will participate in the dialogue when President Michel Sleiman calls for it.

He also urged President Sleiman to deploy all possible efforts to form a new government based on the Baabda declaration.

MP Fatfat slammed Hezbollah's credibility, stressing that the sole solution for the Lebanese crisis resides in the self-dissociation policy and the protection of the border by the Lebanese Armed Forces.
