LBCI soon to broadcast in High Definition Technology

As of Thursday 26th of September 2013, LBCI will be the first Lebanese broadcasting station to broadcast in High Definition (HD) as part of its effort to stay up-to-date with the latest media requirements.

LBCI HD will be launched with the return of Star Academy reality TV show, the most popular talent show, which will be broadcast on the following cable networks: Cablevision, Digiteck, Econet, City TV, and UCL.

LBCI Blue, White and Drama channels will also soon run on HD technology.

HD technology presents its viewers high quality image and is available by linking the receiver to a TV with HD technology via an HDMI device.
