Britain allows its nationals to travel to Lebanon, calls on them to avoid some regions

The British embassy in Lebanon declared on Wednesday that it has amended its warnings concerning travel to Lebanon, thus allowing British nationals to henceforth set Beirut as a destination, all the while advising caution for some regions.

In this context, the British ambassador to Lebanon Tom Fletcher reiterated the UK’s continuous support for Lebanon, stressing that “Britain is helping Lebanon maintain its stability by granting the government an aid package of USD 120 million.”
