Judge Saqr follows up on the Halat explosion incident

State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr followed up Friday on primary investigations into the case of Syrian national Moussa al-Ali who died after an explosive device he was building exploded on Tuesday the 17th of September at his residence in Halat.           

Following investigations, Judge Saqr released al-Ali’s wife, his brother, and his brother-in-law who had been in detention since the occurrence of the incident.                     

On another note, results of laboratory analysis showed that the explosive device is a Russian-made hand grenade, made up from high-explosive flammable materials.                

On Tuesday the 17th of September, a Syrian national identified as Moussa al-Ali was killed after a “suspicious object" exploded at his residence in the town of Halat, near the coastal town of Jbeil.                

Security Forces launched investigations in order to reveal the circumstances behind the incident while the Internal Security Forces Intelligence Bureau arrested the victim's brother, his brother’s wife and his roommate identified as Rafic Bassil.        

In turn, the State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr headed to the town of Halat and inspected the scene of the crime.
