General Security warns against Roumieh prisoner scam

Lebanese General Security said on Monday that an inmate in the Roumieh prison is contacting businessmen from the Gulf region and other international countries, asking for money on behalf of Lebanese politicians.

A statement was issued by the General Security in this regard, noting that the two following phone numbers are being used in the scam: 03/187218 and 03/181867.

The General Security called on citizens to avoid answering calls from these numbers and to report such cases to the security agency’ hotline number 130.
