STL to Lebanon: Thanks for the $32,184,635

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon issued a statement thanking the Lebanese Government for the full payment for 2011, which the Tribunal received this morning.

“With this contribution of US$32,184,635, the representatives of the Lebanese people have demonstrated their commitment to work for the rule of law and long-term stability”, the statement added.

The statement stressed that the STL is looking forward to the continuing co-operation of Lebanon as its works towards completing its judicial mandate.
