Telecom ministry to provide mobile services for ISF members, Civil Defense teams

Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel held talks on Tuesday with caretaker Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui on the issue of providing Internal Security Forces, Civil Defense teams, municipalities' police and guards with a program that offers mobile services similar to the private military line provided to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Following the meeting, Minister Sehanoui said that he agreed with Minister Charbel on the importance of implementing this plan, adding that a work team at the telecommunications ministry has been tasked with preparing the project.
