Siniora refuses any statement of non-cooperation with STL

Former PM Fouad Siniora said that endorsement of STL funding, regardless of the way it happened, erased many criticisms and allegations that have been circulating about the STL for a long time now, such as it being an “Israeli-American tribunal”.

Following his visit to Greek Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius IV Hazim in Balamand, Siniora refused any statement on the non-cooperation with the STL or handing the accused.

He added that the High Commission for Relief is a State institution that people can resort to, and what happened proves this. “It has become the savior from darkness”, he said.
