ISF arrest Captagon-manufacturing network in Majdal Anjar

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces-Public Relations Bureau said on Friday that police arrested 3 persons involved in manufacturing and selling Captagon pills in the Bekaa town of Majdal Amjar.

The ISF anti-drug unit obtained information about a network in East Bekaa manufacturing Capatgaon pills to sell them inside Lebanon.

On Tuesday, the unit raided a house in Majdal Anjar, arresting 3 Lebanese nationals identified as as M.G., 35, W.G., 32, and A.S., 47.

More than 940 kg of raw material used to manufacture Captagon pills, as well as 2,025 pills were seized during the raid.

Investigations were launched under the supervision of the concerned authorities.
