Aoun: No decision yet to participate in Wednesday's session

Change and Reform bloc MP Alain Aoun said on Monday that no decision has been taken so far regarding the participation of Aoun’s ministers in the next cabinet session.

Aoun told Voice of Lebanon that “we are currently discussing ways to deal with the government during the upcoming phase.”

He argued that the next few hours are very crucial, noting that the bloc is still awaiting for answers to its demands.

"We expect MP Michel Aoun to take a decision on whether or not to take part in the session tomorrow."

Commenting on the strike that occurred at Zahrani power plant which led to partial blackout in most of the country, Aoun said that the concerned minister will hold a press conference today to explain the reasons behind the crisis, stressing that it is unacceptable to disrupt all public facilities regardless of the reasons.
