MP Houri reiterates rejection to 9-9-6 cabinet formula

Future Bloc MP Ammar Houri reiterated on Wednesday the bloc’s rejection to the 9-9-6 governmental formula [9 minister from March 8, 9 Ministers from March 14, and 6 centralist ministers] adding that it disrupts the powers granted to the prime minister.

In the same context, MP Houri noted that that “Lebanese officials are approving Hezbollah’s intervention in the Syrian crisis if they agree on the said formula.”

MP Houri called during LBCI’s Nharkom Said for a swift cabinet formation, stressing that the governmental formation decree should be issued at the soonest time possible to secure Lebanon’s national interest.
