Iranian diplomat sounds alarm on US provocations

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rukn Abadi said that intentional U.S. provocations and assaults jeopardize regional and world peace.

Following his meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el Tineh, Abadi said there was a major setback in the western countries’ positions on Syria, adding that the situation in Damascus is gradually improving.

The Iranian president assured his country’s support to the reform aspirations of the majority of the Syrian people, under the leadership of Bashar Assad.
