Future bloc MP Jisr says he did not bet on military strike against Syria

Future bloc MP Jisr said in an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said that US-Iranian negotiations never ceased despite the interruption of diplomatic relations.

“It was interesting how Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, has tried in a speech he delivered yesterday, to make the US role more appealing,” he noted.

“Iran will not abandon Hezbollah, which is implementing its project. No one can compel Hezbollah to withdraw from Syria, although the group’s intervention will entail dire repercussions,” MP Jisr added.

He also stressed that his party does not have international allies but only friends, noting that he did not bet on a military strike against Syria since he opposes any kind of military intervention in the region.
