Caretaker PM Mikati says investment opportunities still available in Lebanon

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati stressed on Friday that attractive investment opportunities are still available in Lebanon especially in the main sectors, noting that the needed reforms aren't impossible.

"Regional changes have both directly and indirectly affected the economy," he added.

"Banque Du Liban and financial markets have implemented a strategic plan in reaction to regional crises and they must draft future plans for reconstruction efforts," Mikati noted.
He also said that "turning Lebanon into a conflict zone will negatively affect other countries," calling for avoiding interference in Arab affairs.
