Qortbawi: Mikati and Berri keen of fighting corruption

Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi said that PM Najib Mikati is leaning towards the establishment of a permanent ministerial committee to devise a comprehensive plan to fight corruption.

Following a meeting headed by PM Mikati to review corruption fighting policies and agreements ratified by the State, Qortbawi said Mikati will discuss with Speaker Berri the possibility of issuing a legislative decision for that purpose.
