MP Hadi Hobeiche said on Thursday that he prepared a constitutional study to reach a suggestion that spares the country the ongoing constitutional void.
MP Hobeiche's comments were made during a phone call with Nharkom Said TV show in which he noted that the presidency is on the brink of void.
He also added that he suggested the amendment of the constitution to extend the mandate of President Sleiman until the election of a new president.
President Michel Sleiman's six-year term ends in May, but there are fears that the differences between the March 8 and 14 alliance would lead to a void in the country's presidency.
