PSP media spokesman Rayess to LBCI: Scale of challenges requires formation of political cabinet

"The scale of challenges requires the formation of a comprehensive political government with all political parties assuming their responsibilities," Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) media spokesman Ramy Al-Rayess said on Thursday.

"Some parties aspire for a neutral or technocrat cabinet," Rayess said in an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, adding however that "such government is unable to control the current situation".

He noted that the PSP supported the 6-9-9 government formula "which constituted a way out after the 8-8-8 cabinet formula had failed," adding that the March 8 and 14 coalitions are adamant on their standpoints, hurdling thus the formation of a new government.
